Perseus – Fights for love rather than simply completing a task, focused on also becoming king again for
his mothers sake of recreating Argos.

Seriphos – Exists only as where Perseus grew up

Dictys- Removed

Polydectes – Removed

Hermes – Removed

Athena – There but has a much more disconnected relationship to perseus

The Graeae – There but are much more evil, as well as only have an eye no mention of one tooth

The Stygian Nymphs- Gone replaced by statues which the gifts are magically found on

Cap of Invisibility – Simply a helmet and is lost during a fight

Winged Sandals – Removed

Kibisis – Removed

Scimitar – Just a normal sword

The Gorgons- Removed keeping medusa but leaving out her sisters

Chrysaor - Removed

Pegasus- There but in a very different capacity combining the myth of Bellerphon and Perseus

Ethiopia or Levant – Removed

Andromeda – There but found much earlier on and becomes a center focus for Perseus’s quest

Cassiopeia- Loving mother of Andromeda, no longer as vain doesn’t boast about being more beautiful
than the nirads, but her daughter is more beautiful – thus the wrath of Poseidon and Andromeda’s
impending sacrifice.

Cepheus – Removed

Poseidon- Has a much less central role, instead just releases kraken

Sea monster – Removed replaced with a titan/kraken

Oracle of Zeus Ammon – Changed to instead be more of a play write who gives back ground information

Phineus – Replaced by Calibon who is turned into a monster by Zeus

Snakes of Libya- Removed

Atlas Mountains - Removed

Coral - Removed

Larissa - Removed

Tiryns - Removed

Megapenthes – Removed

Mycenae- Removed

River Styx – Added as a challenge to be faced Heracles myth

Cerberus – Added as a challenge to be faced, combining Heracles myth

Calibos – Main antagonist of film added to have a main antagonist

Thetis – Goddess Added for having a secondary antagonist

Kraken- Added instead of Cetus, also supposed to be some form of titan.
