EVALUATION 4TH GRADE

TASK 1.

Students are going to express simple opinions and request in familiar contexts. For example,
introducing themselves.

After this activity, teacher it is going to give some instructions to the students in order to do next
activities.

Conversation.

A: Hello! George.

B: Hi! Peter. How are you?

A: I am fine, thank you. And you?

B: I am fine. What’s your last name?

A: My last name is Smith.

B: See you later.

TASK 2. Teacher makes groups and says to the students they are going to go outside to
complete some challenges. Every time they complete one they can pass to another one.

The rally has 5 steps. At the end, if teacher wants he /she can give medal gold or another prize
as motivation to the students. It is more convenient to work with groups of four students.

Rally game: Teacher is going to make clues where students have to find it, students will
recognize basic instructions and sings.

a) Unscramble the sentences. Students have to cut, number or whatever they think is
easier to do. The objective is identify they can recognize some basic aspects of the
language and participate in different contexts.

Peter: Hello, Laura. How are you?


Laura: Hi, Peter. I am fine thank you. And you?

Peter: I am fine thank you. Laura what is your favorite animal?

Laura: My favorite animal is dog.

b) Interview another teacher from your school. Students have to express orally and find
out some information about other person. Also, they have to write and check that
everything is complete when they answer questions.

c) Write the name in a piece of paper or sticker of your favorite animal and make the
sound in front of teacher. When students complete this activity, teacher can see that
they understand written language in different linguistic ways.

d) Students have to match words that rhyme. Students identify similar sounds in words.
