Discuss the definition of magnets, the force exerted by
magnets and objects that can be attracted by magnet and
objects that cannot be attracted by magnets. Give
examples.

A. Let the pupils do the group activity.
1. Gather all the materials on the table.
2. Place each of the given material (tin can, coin,
nail, thumbtacks, pencil, paper clip, paper, metal
spoon) near the end of the magnet. Observe what
happens.

Group A- Get 3 objects inside the classroom that can be
attracted by magnet. Let them illustrate if magnet can
attract or repel it.
Group B- Make a role playing on how magnet attracts
objects.
Group C- Draw the different kinds of magnet.
