Water Rower Model Identification
Water Rower Model Identification
model
identification The WaterRower design has evolved in three basic
steps (Series I, II and III). These design changes
make spare parts identification a little more difficult.
Since 1993 WaterRower has had two manufacturing
facilities, one in London, England servicing the
European Market and one in Rhode Island, USA,
servicing the American market.
Some people will know where their machine was
made, however it is best to check. The easiest way to
identify the country of origin of your WaterRower is
the tank level gauge sticker (on the side of the tank)
or the serial number label.
Series I
All Series I WaterRowers were the original design.
Made in the Rhode Island they are quite distinctive
and may be identified by the following characteristics.
Series II
Series II WaterRower's were manufactured in both the
US and the UK (check the level gauge for the country
of origin). Each location manufactured various
versions of the machine.
Series II- US Models
The US operation manufactured two basic designs of
the machine, the WaterRower Series II Model A and
the WaterRower Series II Model B.
The WaterRower Series II Model A was the first
redesign of the popular Series I and may be identified
by the following characteristics.
The WaterRower Series II Model B was the model
which sold widely through the Nordic Track
organisation and may be identified by the following
characteristics.
