Jeffrey Preston Bezos better known as Jeff Bezos was born on January 12, 1964 in Albuquerque, New
Mexico to mother, Jacklyn Gise Jorgenson and father, Ted Jorgenson. In high school, Jeff Bezos
developed the Dream Institute, which is a center that promoted creative thinking in young
students. After graduating high school in 1968 from Princeton University with degrees in
electrical engineering and computer science, he tackled a sequence of jobs before joining the
New York investment bank D.E. Shaw Company.
Jeff Bezos is an american entrepreneur, media proprietor, investor, and computer engineer. He
is the founder and executive chairman of Amazon, where he previously served as the president
and CEO. He has a net worth of $195.9 billion as of November 2021, he is the second-wealthiest
person in the world following Elon Musk.
