My Friends and I!
Objective:
Talk about your network
of friends and the things
you all share.
Recommendation
Recycle the contents of units 1 and 2 related to
the description of routines, habits, permanent
states, likes and dislikes and free time activities.
1 Structure - Introduce the types of
friends you have (online,
neighbors, classmates,
teammates, co-workers)
- Talk about some
routines, common
interests, hobbies and
things you enjoy doing
together.
- Talk about what you like
about them and how
important they are for
you.
2 Preparation
- Get familiar with the tool “Book Creator.”

- Make sure your camera and microphone are functional.

- Select photos that show you and your friends.

- Design a book template with images and a

small number of keywords.
Imagine a photo album.
Preparation - Use linking words in your
presentation since it makes
it more interesting and
spontaneous.

- Check your pronunciation,

in case of doubts, use
apps such as Spell up.

- Practice your presentation

as many times as
necessary before recording
the video.
3 Procedure
When you design your photo album, pay attention to:

1. IMAGES: upload real photos of your network of friends and

you sharing time together. Try to upload at least 2 photos per
page.
2. TEXT: you can use keywords (no more than 3 per page.)
Choose a title for your book: think of something appealing.
3. PAGES: the photo album must have at least 8 pages and
maximum 9 pages.
4. VIDEO: Record at least a 15-seconds video in each page.
4 Requirements

❑ Use the camera to record the video clip.

❑ You can only include pictures and

some key words but not a complete
text.

❑ Show your face all the time, if not, the

video will not be validated.
5 Observations
● It is not a reading task; you need to speak as
fluently as possible for about three minutes.
● Be aware of your body language when expressing
your ideas.
● Be sure that your video can be seen by your tutor.
(Share settings – “public”)
● Check the rubrics beforehand in order to familiarize
with the evaluation criteria.
