System
To find out the new weather, roll and sum 2D6 and consult the Navigation Hex. Move in the
direction indicated from the ‘current Hex’ to the ‘New Hex’. Disallowed Navigation Directions

are shown by red ×’s, in which case, stay in the Current Hex. Edge rules: If the navigation
direction takes you off the Hex Flower, rejoin the Hex Flower on the opposite edge of the
Hex Flower, joining the same column or row. There’s example below. The Hazard is an
extreme weather event e.g. tornado, blizzard, wildfires, flash flood, lightning storm, vog etc.

The idea is to allow weather to gradually transition overtime, with more common weather
being favoured at the bottom of the HF, but where the edge rules still allow for some more
freakish unpredictable changes.

Example
I generated seven days of weather below as indicated by the red arrow path (I decided to
start in the central Hex). The 2D6 rolls were: 6, 3, 7, 7 (rejoin the HF along the same
column); 5, 6, 11. So, the weather started out unsettled, brighten before some stormy
weather hit:

Hex Flowers are great little tools for making mini-games and I have made few.
