QUESTIONS

When will I/We receive my/our offer letter/DOJ letter?

We have released the soft copy of offer letters mentioning DOJ’s for all the students
recruited from 2011 batch. In case you have not received the same, please write a mail to
offer_update@infosys.com.

My college-mates/class-mates DOJ is different from mine?

Is there a mistake?
No. We have followed a different grouping-model this year. Hence all recruits from a
particular college need not necessarily be joining us in the same batch. This was done
with the intention of diversifying batches from the start of the training itself so that you
can polish/hone your flexibility and team working skills.

I can see that my offer letter mentions the DOJ as well, will I still be receiving any
another communication?
You will not be receiving any further communication on DOJ. However, you will receive
an email on your accommodation details one week prior to your joining.

haven’t received any communication regarding my offer/DOJ while all my batch

mates have received?
Please note that we have released all offer/DOJ letters in batches. Not all students from a
college/branch/stream need to necessarily be in the same batch. Despite that if you have
not yet received any communication we advise you to send a mail to
offer_update@infosys.com clearly specifying the full name, DOB and an active email
address.

want to extend my date of joining due to personal reasons?

We will not be considering extension requests due to personal reasons.

Would I be given a joining date before I complete my graduation / post graduation

course?
The joining date for the students is decided taking into account the course completion
date and our business requirements.

Do I need to maintain my simple average/aggregates/CGPA for all qualifications

above the cut-off even at the time of joining?
It is very important that you maintain the simple average/aggregate percentage of marks
above the academic cut-off detailed out in the Pre Placement Talk as well as should have
no backlogs. You will also recall that we had stressed upon this aspect during the post-
placement talk as well as through an e-mail to your Placement Officer. At the time of
making the offer, we have considered your simple average / aggregate percentages /
CGPA available till then. At the time of joining, the simple average / aggregate / CGPA will
be calculated for each of your qualifications, based on all the subjects/semesters/years. It
is important that you meet the eligibility criteria at the time of joining as well.

Whom should I contact for any change in the communication address / email address
or spelling mistakes / errors in the offer letter?
Please write to us at offer_update@infosys.com mentioning your reference number to
update your details.

Should I quote my reference number in all future correspondence?

Yes, it is recommended that you quote the reference number (mentioned on the offer
letter) in all your correspondence with us. This would enable us to give a timely reply.
