Event Title: National Arts Month 2022 “Sining Ng Pag Asa”

(Poster Making and Song Composition Contest)

I. Rationale:
National Arts Month is celebrated every February to promote Philippine Arts, including music,
visual arts, dance, architecture, film and literature. As various institutions celebrate this event, this will
help promote the artistic side of NVCians in showing the local art scene, specifically music and visual
arts.
This school-based endeavor will focus on visual arts and music that will be best represented in
the poster making and song composition contest. This will help the students’ visual language to be
developed despite the circumstances we are encountering brought by the COVID-19 Pandemic.

II. Objectives
 Provide opportunities to harness and strengthen the students’ artist skills in music and visual arts
 Highlight the importance of art in students’ daily life
 Adapt to new normal terms of modes of production and expression

III. Alignment to NVC Vision and Mission

To educate and train Filipinos to be globally competitive, service oriented, patriotic, responsible
and productive citizens.

IV. Target Participants

The target participants will be the NVC Junior High School Students.

V. Strategies
 Conduct meeting with the faculty of Junior High School to identify the core group of the event
 Send proposal to the Office of the President
 Post announcement in the official FB page of JHS and in Messenger through the advisers
 Send letter of invitation to the judges
 Prepare prices and certificates for the winners
 Gather and tabulate the scores of the judges
 Post the list of winners in the official FB page of JHS
 Award the winners on the releasing and submission of modules schedule
