Before digging deeper into the various motherboard parts. Let's go over
some basic terminology so we will be familiar with the content. What is a
computer? A computer is an electronic device that accepts raw data,
processes it, and produces an output. All of the devices we see on the
computer are either directly or indirectly connected to the motherboard. As
a result, the motherboard is commonly referred to as the computer's
"backbone" or "spine."
