Bleisure Travel is a growing tourism trend where people traveling for work or business
include some leisure time at their destination. These business-leisure trips can either be
preplanned, whereby clients schedule their vacation within the same period of a job-related
trip. Once the meetings, professional conferences, and other work engagements are over,
business travelers may decide to extend their stay and explore their destination

as business as it is now transforming accommodation packages into promises of a great escape
from redesigning the guestrooms and communal spaces, to providing top services and
memorable experiences, to meet the global traveler’s extra expectations that integrate to a
more tech-driven guest experiences, Instagram-worthy and green spaces, as well as
personalized activities.

Brainstorming details

The trends that we have in the hospitality industry are Instagram-worthy spaces, smart
trends, and virtual reality tours. In those trends, we easily agree on having a hotel as the
business as it fits the trends that we have. After agreeing on hotel business, we combine the
characteristics of the trends as our hotel features, facilities, and offered services to meet our
guest satisfaction. With virtual reality tours, we all know that it is indeed needed as we
experience pandemics today in which personal interactions are being observed. Virtual reality
tours now become in need before customers will book a hotel room wherein they will have a
virtual visit for the room they will accommodate, in this way, customers will start to have vibes
for the room as they can see what the surroundings are will be like. With Instagram-worthy
spaces, as it is needed to have quirky and playful designs, we generate some hotel themes to
add visual flavors to the overall ambiance of the room like modern, minimalist, and luxury
designs.

While in smart trends, the incorporating of the Internet of Things into a property is
something that excites guests, as it offers a high level of convenience, efficiency, and a sense of
luxury. With that, we come up with the idea that our hotel will have easy access to the internet,
an in-room workstation, business and conference rooms, and other mini-office amenities. It
also includes leisure facilities for indoor sports such as swimming pools where they can relax
after the seminar or meetings. In addition, entertainment systems that can be turned on
through voice command would also be a good feature.

In generating our hotel features, facilities, and offered services, we have freewheeling
where all ideas are welcome as well as being acknowledged in the whole time of brainstorming
process which led us to have success in our hotel business.
