Dear past self,

I hope this letter catches you on a good note, even If it looks like

nothing is positive anymore, considering the situation you’ve found

yourself into. I know the pandemic came out of the blue, but I reckon

that you’ll manage to fight the issue you are confronting. A lot has

changed meanwhile. Everything has changed radically, yet only 10

years have passed. Firstly, stop worrying about the well-known

COVID-19. It won’t be long until the vaccine will be found. Even

though the problem that seemed to never end was finally solved,

during the following months that you will experience things will be

way different. As the society expands, people will understand the

importance of being careful and staying united. The thing of

paramount importance that you should always keep in mind while

living side-by-side with this virus is to stay safe. After things will be

sorted out, people will be more united, allowing them to make

innumerable discoveries that will enhance the way you live. The

protests and riots that have been going on in The USA have finally
stopped, so don’t be reluctant if you wish to move there. I’m telling

you this as I’m writing from my apartment in Los Angeles. There are

myriad reasons for which you’ve chosen this wondrous city, but I’ll let

you discover them. As you might have guessed, electric cars have

taken over the roads all around the world. Tesla has managed to create

such amazing cars that they have managed to entice other car

manufacturers to move on from fossil fuels. Global warming is now a

thing of the past, as people are now exclusively using electricity as a

source of fuel for their objects. Moreover, don’t be scared about your

future job. I won’t give you a lot of details regarding what career

you’ll pursue in the next decade, but keep creating things related to

graphic effects and consider starting a YouTube channel, because you

never know when or from where opportunities will arise. I know that

you’ve heard people saying that the online industry will slowly die,

but trust me and take those words with a grain of salt, since most of

the physical jobs that the society used to do are a thing of the past.

Such debilitating chores are now completed by robots. These

machines are manually programed by humans, therefore the society’s

economy can still thrive, all using the internet. Speaking of the
internet, I’m assuming that you’re familiar with learning online. You

should make yourself comfortable, as online-schooling will soon

become a permanent thing. People have realized that it is much more

convenient to learn from school, since the people who own schools

don’t have to spend a lot of money taking care of the building in

which the students use the be thought all sorts of things. Since I’ve

brought the discussion about school subjects, redundant classes like

chemistry and history have been replaced with hours that will stand

your future in good stead. There were also myriad discoveries made,

that the humanity has cashed in on, such as the aforementioned robots,

which are savvy enough to complete almost any activity they are

programmed to. Flying cars are now being used by Uber to get to the

desired destinations at the drop of the hat. They have also introduced a

helicopter system, which has a range of 500 kilometers, meaning you

can travel from one city to another with ease only by using an app on

your phone. Furthermore, the well-known Concorde planes have

finally returned. This state-of-the-art airplane is able to complete a

flight from London to New York in 3 hours and 15 minutes. I’m sure

you’re excited to hear all of this information, as I know you passion

about traveling. Having said this mesmerizing information, I can’t

wait for you to discover all of the aforementioned things that the

future has in store for you. Of course, there are still a lot of

astonishing things that I didn’t want to tell you about yet, as It strikes

me that those must be explored by you. I know It’s a long way until

2030, but If you concentrate and face the issues that you encounter

along the way with the smile on your face, you will get to your

destination safe and sound. Before I leave, I just want to tell you that

you should ignore the people who don’t have faith in you, because as

long as you believe in yourself, everything will be much easier.
