On July 20th, 1969 the Lunar Module “Eagle”
landed on the moon at 0.71 degrees North,
23.63 degrees East. Two men walked on the
moon. They stayed 21.6 hours and brought
back 44 Ibs of moon rock. They left a plaque
inscribed with these words:
“Here Men From Planet Earth First Set Foot
Upon the Moon.
July 1969 A.D. We Came In Peace
For All Mankind
