7. Relating to Real Life (pp.5-6)
The learners do the activity by reading the
entire text given and then do the following
tasks:
a. Locate the main idea or the thesis
statement of the whole essay;
b. Paraphrase the highlighted sentences;
c. Make an outline about the characteristics
of the Filipino people; and
d. Summarize the text in at least 5
sentences.
8. Checking the Target (pp. 6-8)
The learners read and understand each
statement carefully and choose the best
answer carefully.
9. Enriching the Skill (p. 8)
The learners complete the table by supplying
the needed information based on the given
instruction for each.
