 AVP Machine Configuration Overview
Purpose: Overview for AVP machine configuration Native game
Configuration Tools: Drive Thumb Drive -- Diagnostic 14-02
Diagnostic EKey -- EKey04
System Setup Ekey -- Ekey05
Full Ram Clear instruction:
1. Open the Card Cage Door at Brain Box.
2. Insert Diagnostic 14-02 , then Power on the machine.
3. Machine takes approximately half minute for AVP Diagnostic
Menu Display. (see Figure 1)
4. Insert EKey04, Touch-button that have gray lettering and E-
Key icon will activate.
5. Press “ Non-Volatile Storage ” button, the follow screen
appears. (see Figure 2)
• Tick “Wipe” at “Cabinet Memory” and “ Safe
Storage” Figure 1
• Press “Wipe” button, Confirm Window will appear.
(see Figure 3)
• Press “Continue” button, machine will start wiping
process.
• After Wiping Process, “Result” window prompt press
“OK” to complete. (see Figure 4)
6. Unplug the EKey04 and Diagnostic 14-02 . “Read Error”
massage will appear at screen. Press “OK” button, machine
will reboot. (see Figure 5)

 Initial Configuration instructions:

** Notes: Below instruction is for initial Configuration after completed Full Ram
Clear Process.
1. After machine reboots, “E2 device data not valid” will appear prompting the technician to turn the
attendant key to clear the recoverable error.

2. Follow the on screen instruction (see Figure 6)

• Turn the attendant key twice
• At the “Enter the ekey or operator menu” prompt insert the Ekey05 to Brain box.

3. Follow the instruction on the screen and set the following : (Detail at below page)
• Touch Screen Calibration
• Network Setup
• Clock Setup
• Monetary type setup
• Cabinet Serial Number
• Coin Devices Setup
• Ticket Printer Setup
• Bill Validator Setup

Bank Cash In Setup

Bank Play / Win Setup

Bank Cash Out Setup
• Comm Setup
• Game Setup

 Below is Options Setup Detail:
Touch screen Calibration:

Follow the on screen instructions to calibrate Touch Screen.

Press “More” button, when you completed the Touch Screen Setup

Network setup: Keep the Default Setting. Press “More” button.

Clock setup: Access the correct Date and Time, then Press “More” button.

Monetary type setup:

o According the requirement, select correct Native Monetary type.
o Disable the “Euro” at Non-native monetary types, and press “OK”.
o Press “Save” and “More” button.

**Notes: If you are selected incorrect monetary type and press “More” button. You
can’t change it. You must Full Ram Clear machine again.

 Cabinet Serial Number:
**Notes: If you are accessed incorrect Cabinet Serial Number and press “More”
button. You can’t rechange it. You must Full Ram Clear machine again.

Coin Devices Setup: According the requirement, verify value of Accounting

Denomination at Coin Devices Setup page.
Configure Accounting Denomination

To edit the Accounting Denomination

Press “Press to View / Change” button at Denomination available to play.
Select expect denomination. Then press “OK” .

The value of Accounting Denomination will change; while you are selected
expect denomination.

Verify all settings.

Presses “Save”, then press “Next” button, go to next Step.

Ticket Printer Setup

• Verify all settings.
• Press “Save” and “Next” Button.

 Bill Validator Setup

• Press “Next” button, next screen will come up.

• Press “Press to view / change” button and select value of notes accepted. Then
press “OK” (see Figure 8, 9)

• Press “Next” button, “Bank Cash In Setup” will come up. According the
requirement to complete machine limitation. (see Figure 10, 11, 12)
**notes: Three pages at “Bank Cash In Setup”; you should be verify what is option
need to configure. (see Figure 10, 11, 12)
• Verify all settings
• After complete machine Limitation, press “More”

• Press “More” button.

 Player Lockout Setup: Keep the Default Setting. Press” More” button.

Comm Setup
*Notes: According the Type of Protocol, machine was installed relevant
Daughter Board.

1. According daughter board location, you should select relevant Comm port (eg: Serial
SAS1 – Comm1 – Enter the SAS Channel Address of the machine) (see Figure 13)
2. Go to SerialSAS 1 Advanced Options. (see Figure 14)
• Select “yes” at Protocol Enable
• Select relevant Daughter Board or Comm protocol, press “OK” button

3. If machine is configured at TITO, below is configure

instruction.
• Select Serial SAS1 at Port at Voucher In / Out
option (see Figure 15)
• Press “Advanced” at Voucher In / Out option,
“Advanced SAS Voucher In / Out option “page
will come up.
In Advanced SAS Voucher In / Out option. Figure 15
(see Figure 16)
• Select relevant selection at Validation Style
• Select “Yes” at Accept Vouchers, Print
Vouchers,
• Verify all settings
• Press “OK” button and “More” button.

 Game Setup:

Press “Slot” button, Game list was installed will appear at Theme type.
(see Figure 17)
**Notes: if the Lock icon is closed and red color at Slot Theme, means
the game license is not installed.

Press Game icon at Theme type, Option at Theme Options will activate.
(see Figure 18)

Press “Press to View / Change “button at Game Configuration. “License Warning”
prompt will appear, If the game license is request. (see Figure 19)

Press “OK” and “Back” button.

Press “ More”, operator menu will come up. (see Figure 20)

 How to licensing of a game
Press the Game License option at Setup option. Press Game Number button at Theme type.
The request code will appear at Game License page. (see Figure 21)

Obtain the Activation Code.

When you got the Activation code, Press “Enter the License code “bar at Screen, access the
Activation code thought the Keypad. Then “OK” button.
Press “Save” button, the request code will change to “Confirmation code….”. (see Figure 22)

*Notes: When you are waiting for the Activation code, you can unplug the E-Key 05
and continue other machines configuration. But if you are unplug E-key, the machine will
sound . Because the Bell alarm is enabled (Default).
If you require to disable the Bell alarm. Insert the EKey05, go to Setup option. Press ”Bell”
option at “Machine” option, change the “yes” to “No”. (see Figure 23, 24)

When you completed the License code process and installed the License Dongle. Below option
should need to configure.
• Go to” Bank” option
o Press the “Next” button. “Bank Play / Win Setup”
will come up. (See Figure 25)
o Select “Player” at “Who can start auto play”.
(if required)
o Select “Yes” at “Allow double up in the jurisdiction.
(if required)
o Press “Save” and “Back” button.

 Configure Denomination
• Go to “Cash Devices” option.
o Double check the Accounting Denomination is value of request. If it is incorrect, you
need repeat upon process (from Full Ram Clear process)
o Press “Press to View / change “at Denomination available to play. Enable the relevant
Denominations available to player. (see Figure 26, 27)
o Select one denomination at Default player denomination. If machine is configured at
multi-denomination.
o Press “Save” and “Back” button

Configure Game
• Go to” Game” option
o Press “Slot” button, game list was installed will appear at Theme type
o Press “Press to view / change “ button at Game Configuration.
According the requirement, select RTP and relevant denomination. Then press
“Enable Selected Game” button. (if button change to “Disable Selected Game”
and Color change to Red, means you have activated this RTP at this
Denomination. (see Figure 29, 30, 31)

 ** If machine is configured at multi-denom, you should check each RTP at
selected Game.
The relevant denom will with relevant Paytable ID , “tick” in box and color is
yellow, “Disable Selected Game” prompt will appear at left side down corner.
That is completed RTP configuration.
o Press “Save” and “Back” button.
o Press “Press to view / change “button at Game Max. Bet Configuration.

According the requirement to select value of request at the Maximum
Total Bet Credits
o Press “Save” and “Back” button.
o Press “Back” button.

Configure Double up Figure 32

• Go to “Game options” option
o Press “Double up” option, according the requirement to adjust the limitation for
Double Up Limits and Max Cycles. (see Figure 33)
o Press “All Game This Theme” and “Save” button. (see Figure 34)
o Press “Back” button.

Configure Play Button

• Go to “Button” option at Machine “option.
o Select “Btn 9 - Max. Bet” at “Button 10 behavior
o Select “Btn 16 - Double Up “at Button 16 behavior
o Press “Save” and “Back” button. (see Figure 35)
