TECHNICAL DATA FEATURES (for VG valve)

Sleeves are very easily Replaceable. Sleeves are put in the valve without any

Salient Features VG Model Valves:

 Body: - Cast Monoblock, Single Piece (NOT Bolted 2 piece to avoid leakage thro the bolted
bonnet design also avoid rusting / leakage thro no of bolts.)
 Gate Design: - Beveled Sharp Edge at both side of gate to cut through heavy solids of fluid and
NOT Rounded Ends.
 Yoke: - Carbon Steel in Single piece design (NO bolted yoke in diff. parts).
 Secondary Sealing: - In the form of Rubber apart from Rubber Sleeve and thus NO leakage.
Packing less Design without any Gland Packing.
 Flush Guard: - Splash guard provided in the form of PIPE to collect the drain slurry during the
Opening / Closing time of the valves for continuous flushing arrangement and if required back to
your suction tank (Avoiding the dirty of place and wastage of slurry).
 Same splash guard avoids the periodically cleaning of slurry from bottom of valve in the case of
Blank Plate instead of Splash Guard.

ORBINOX Rubber Sleeve (Heart of the valve):-

ORBINOX PATENTED DESIGN (for Highly Abrasives Slurry) with following features:-

Sleeves have been designed to have properties in the 3 directions as below :-

1. Flow direction: - It is necessary to have flexibility in this direction so the gate can go up and
down easily.

2. Radial direction: - We need rigidity in this direction. Due to this purpose the sleeve has
metallic insert to avoid deformation and leaks.
 3. Transverse direction: - The harder the better in this direction in order to reduce the friction
between the gate and sleeve reducing the weariness’ of the sleeve.

Due to above three points Sleeve act as a Wiper to clean the slurry in Gate during closing / opening of the
valve due to Tight Shut between to the Sleeve part during fully Open / Closed condition of the valve
ensure ZERO Leakage. (Not in the form of Inserts).

ORBINOX Patented design and its art of curve with SS reinforcement ensures NO settlement of slurry in
the sleeves and make it fall down in the Splash Guard during only opening / closing time of valve.

1. Rubber sleeve is only in contact with the Fluid, so made of Natural Rubber/ EPDM
ensuring no Sculpture content and highest quality of Rubber (Imported from Orbinox
Spain ) and No Indigenous Rubber .
2. Rubber Sleeve in the valves is easy Field Replaceable without dismantling the valves
body or valves from line.
3. Rubber sleeves fitted in valves does not require any Mechanical Fasteners or Metal Plate
(which get corroded and make difficult in opening to change the sleeve).
4. Rubber Sleeves is design which can be rotated in 120 Deg to have uniform usage from all
direction and more life of sleeve and thus ensuring more life to the valves.
5. Design such that NO Rubber Gasket require between the valves and Flange of the
pipeline.
