Introduction
Make adjustments from the left following the order of the arrows. The adjustment procedures are noted in the
adjustment standards for each chapter.

If the Bal-Con sensor position is changed, the forward or rear position of the bobbin will
change relative to the movable Bal-Con.
Set the movable Bal-Con stop position on the VOS.
Bal-Con Specification
1. Set to “Bal-Con Operation Check” on the VOS
maintenance screen. (Refer to Chapter 3)
2. Fix the jig provided to the base plate, and then
set the Bal-Con to the bottom position using
the unit operation buttons.
* Slide the jig to align the right or left position.
3. Loosen the screws, move the base plate, Screw
and align the forward or rear position of the Plate
jig provided so that it is centered with the
movable Bal-Con. Jig

4. Supply the peg with an empty bobbin, and fix the peg unit in place once the left or right position is
aligned with the center of the balloon guide.

Apply to the contact area
between the rod and the lever Lever
(6 internal lubrication places).
Ensure that the belt is not too slack or too taut. Malfunctions could occur if the tension is
out of the recommended range. (Recommended tension: When the bobbin length is 260
mm or less, the tension should be between 30.2 and 40.6 N. When the bobbin length is 261
mm or greater, the tension should be between 33.6 and 61.6 N)
