Please tell me about the city where you have visited. What makes you feel alive in
that city. Support your reason with the examples.

One of the cities I have visited and made me feel like living there is
Makassar. This city is the place where I was born. My mother is a native of
Makassar city, and she raised me there for 3 years. In the city of Makassar, the
people are friendly. Most of the people are Muslim, and they are also tolerant of
other religions. When I lived in Makassar, my neighbors often visited my house
and exchanged stories. This is what makes me feel more family with my neighbors.
My neighbors are also compact, and help each other when they are in trouble. I
remember, when I was little my mother had to go out and I was entrusted to the
neighbors, and they also wanted to help by accompanying me, inviting me to play
with their children, and many other things to do together.
 It's not only the socialization that I like, but from the culinary point of view,
I like the food. In the morning, there are many food vendors, such as Jagung
Bassang, which is a white corn that has been boiled in coconut milk with added
sugar on top, which is delicious to eat in the morning. Besides that, as for other
Makassar foods, which are my favorite foods, namely heavy foods such as Coto
Makassar with a bowl of beef soup and the inside fillings such as intestines, liver,
and other offal with seasoned sauce and delicious tauco sauce, it makes me always
remember that this is Makassar. My favorite place to eat coto Makassar is Coto
Paraikatte on A.P. Pettarani Street, No. 125, near Pettarani gas station. The price is
only IDR 15,000 per bowl. The place is often crowded with customers, if you want
to buy it I recommend it before the employees break, which is before noon. Not
only that, delicious food and a must-try when visiting Makassar, namely Nasi
Campur which is the most delicious is at Nyoto Restaurant, Jalan Somba Opu.
There are many choices of side dishes, and the taste is very delicious. If you want
to eat something sweet, you can also try the Pisang Epe, which is a grilled banana
that is flattened and then doused with brown sugar sauce plus toppings on it such
as cheese, chocolate, durian, and other toppings as desired. For the ice, you can
also try eating Pisang Ijo, bananas covered with a green flour mixture plus coconut
milk and sweet syrup which adds to the deliciousness of the ice. Very suitable to
be enjoyed during the day.
In Makassar, there are many interesting tourist attractions to visit. One of the
places that are the prima donna of tourists is Losari Beach, we will enjoy beautiful
beach views, and we can see the 9 dome mosque, besides that on this beach there
are also many rides offered such as speed boats, duck boats, banana boats, and
there are also Instagramable photo spots for visitors who want to take pictures. At
night, tourists can enjoy the cool beach air while eating seafood and epe bananas.
In addition to Losari Beach, the island of khayangan is an island that is often
visited by Makassar tourists. I have visited the island, to visit it we need to take a
speed boat for 30 minutes from the pier in front of the Rotterdam fort. On the
island of heaven, we can snorkel to enjoy the beauty of the underwater scenery. In
addition, we can also rent a villa with complete facilities, there is also a nice and
comfortable restaurant. At that time, I had time to dive and was allowed to take
some seaweed. I also took some seaweed, and I took the seaweed home and the
seaweed was mixed in fruit ice. It tastes fresh and delicious when eaten. It was my
first experience eating seaweed. In Makassar there are also many other tourist
attractions such as Trans studio Makassar, there are also many malls that are no
less majestic than in the city of Jakarta. Until now, there are still many new tourist
attractions in Makassar.
For me, Makassar is not just an ordinary place, but as a place that holds
many beautiful memories for me, and I feel comfortable and feel Makassar is home
to me. That's the reason I chose Makassar as my favorite city.
