Varsity is one of the best sporting events at UWLSU! Each year

Highlight:
Rayan Stepping up to take a free kick outside the box,
Monday 28th March banging it over the keeper. Then 5 minutes later stepping up
(6:30pm-9:30pm) to take another from the same position and putting it in near

Highlight:
Our Spirit Team supporting the UWL Rangers at their first
league match against the Westminster Dragons! This was
many of our fresher’s first time being a part of our Sideline
Team and the atmosphere during the match was fantastic! We
can’t wait to do it all again at VARSITY 2022 #slaythedragon

overtime or penalty shootouts, your team will need vocal support right
up to the final whistle!

‘We are the Champions’:


Match points from all scoring contests are totalled, with the university
amassing the most points crowned Varsity Champions 2022 & awarded
the official Varsity trophy. If the day ends in a draw, the winners of
Varsity 2019 retain the trophy for another year.

Alcohol:
Players and spectators are reminded that strictly no alcohol is allowed
to be brought onto the site. The site has it’s own bar, where you can
purchase alcoholic drinks. There will be a security bag search upon entry
and any alcohol will be confiscated.
