ACQUIRE NEW SKILLS AND MODELS APPLICABLE IN ANY BUSINESS ENVIRONMENT THAT
CONTRIBUTE TO ECONOMIC AND PRODUCTIVE DEVELOPMENT WITHIN AN ORGANIZATION
What criteria are you using to evaluate the organization (EnbridgeGas) for which you hope to work?
Enbridge is a leading North American energy producer that is focused on growing its strong portfolio of
diverse resource plays producing natural gas, oil and natural gas liquids. By partnering with employees,
community organizations and other businesses, Enbridge contributes to the strength and sustainability of
the communities where it operates.
Describe a situation in which you worked as part of a team. What role did you take on? What went well and what
didn't?
IN THE IMPLEMENTATION OF A NEW PAYROLL SOFTWARE FOR THE COMPANY FOR WHICH I
WORK, IT WAS IMPORTANT TO EVALUATE THE PROCESSES INVOLVED IN THE SETTLEMENT AND
PAYMENT OF PAYROLL AND SOCIAL SECURITY, FOR WHICH EACH OF MY COLLEAGUES TOOK A
PROCESS, I WAS THE PERSON IN CHARGE TO ENSURE THE PARAMETERIZATION OF THE SOCIAL
SECURITY PROCESS, WHICH WAS VERY SUCCESSFUL BECAUSE WE ACHIEVED THE
IMPLEMENTATION IN THE STIPULATED TIME. HOWEVER, SOMETHING THAT DID NOT GO WELL
WAS DESPITE ALL THE EFFORTS, THE PARAMETERIZATION OF THE SOFTWARE DID NOT COVER
ALL THE CASES DUE TO THE NUMBER OF RECORDS.
Describe a situation in which you had to work with a difficult person (co-worker, customer, supervisor, etc.). How did
you handle the situation? Is there anything you would have done differently in hindsight?
ON ONE OCCASION AN EMPLOYEE DID NOT AGREE WITH THE DISCOUNTS APPLIED IN THE
PAYMENT OF HIS PAYROLL, THE PERSON WAS QUITE UPSET BELIEVING THAT A MISTAKE HAD
BEEN MADE, THE SOLUTION THAT WAS GIVEN WAS THROUGH AN EMAIL DESCRIBING THE LAWS
THAT ENDORSED THIS DISCOUNT.
WHAT I WOULD HAVE DONE DIFFERENTLY IS THE WAY THE PERSON WAS RESPONDED TO, I WOULD
HAVE CALLED A FACE-TO-FACE MEETING IN A MORE FAMILIAR ENVIRONMENT AND I WOULD
HAVE EXPLAINED THE REGULATIONS IN A MORE DIDACTIC WAY, MAKING SURE THAT THE PERSON
HAD UNDERSTOOD.
Was there an occasion when you disagreed with a supervisor's decision or company policy? Describe how you handled
the situation?
ON ONE OCCASION MY SUPERVISOR ASKED ME TO WORK LATE ON CHRISTMAS NIGHT, I WAS QUITE
FRUSTRATED, HOWEVER AFTER A FEW HOURS I REFLECTED ON WHETHER I WAS GOING TO WORK
BEING OBFUSCATED IT WAS GOING TO TAKE ME LONGER TO FINISH IT, SO I TOOK A DEEP BREATH
AND THOUGHT ABOUT IT. I REASSURED MYSELF THAT IF I DID WORK CONSCIOUSLY, I COULD BE
WITH MY FAMILY FASTER. TO BAD WEATHER, GOOD FACE.
