2 New features
2.1 Support of cold Main/Standby model of CCS Server (Open Touch HA)
It is now possible to configure Main and Standby CCS Servers in CCS client configuration. It is assumed that
Main and Standby CCS servers are fully deployed independently; provisioning level is the same on both servers
and they are operating in a cold standby model.
Only one CCS Server is active at a time and it is assumed that synchronization is a responsibility of CC
administrator.
CCS clients may be configured only once for such dual host configuration.
CCS clients may remain active during CCS Server switchover. After switchover is completed and standby CCS
Server is activated, CCS client automatically re-connects to CCS Server running on a former “standby” host.
This feature is assumed to be used only in Open Touch HA context and not in usual CCD context.
It has been checked that CCS RTI client can survive this kind of switchover and continue to receive
information from CCS (in case of CC Wallboard application).
CCS Server : host1:9999, CCS Backup Server: host2: it is assumed both CCS Servers are
configured on connection port 9999.
CCS Server : host1:9999, CCS Backup Server: host2:8888 : it is assumed main CCS Servers is
configured on connection port 9999 and backup CCS Server is configured on connection port
8888.
