Dear Amy
How are you? I'm in Arequipa with my best friend and I'm staying at her home.
Arequipa is a really nice city and most of the people are kind. However, there are
a lot of people and sometimes it's too crowded. It also gets really noisy
sometimes. To compensate, my friend told me the food from here is delicious so I
will try it.
Today I went to Plaza de Armas and I liked it very much. My friend was born here
so she knows the city perfectly. We went to two beautiful cultural places, Ateneo
Theater and Santa Catalina Museum. I could learn a lot from Arequipa. I spent all
my time in those places so I couldn't try the delicious traditional food from here
but I will do it tomorrow by going to a traditional restaurant. In addition, I will buy
some souvenirs for you. What kind of souvenirs do you want?
