Insights in Eyewitness

Back in August 2019, for me it was the memorable event that happened in my
entire life. It was a night full of good memories, laughters, and enjoyment that
I never felt before. We all know that Intramurals is being held every year.
Athletes came from different schools are always preparing and competitive.
While, a student like me is more excited to cheer and give full support when
the event is nearly over, not only students and athletes but also the faculty.
The Intramurals 2019 held in Capoocan, Leyte was fun, athletes from
different schools was there. Though I’m not a athlete I can feel the excitement
and pressure while watching the event from different places with different
sports. I can see some athletes are winning, some are losing, here and there.
After the long day watching all the sports competition here comes the night
that we’re all waiting for. The Mr. & Ms. Intramurals 2019, some of my
classmates are going home of course because its already night time but me and
my friends and other schoolmates decided to spend the night to watch the said
show, actually there are so many students who came from different schools
including ours to support too. During the show we are all so dizzy, shouting
loud and supporting for our candidate. In the middle of the show someone
called me outside to freshen up because I was so haggard that time so I didn’t
finish the show. Our candidate didn’t won the title because of the biased
judging they said but its okay, the most important thing for us is we enjoy,
have fun and no hard feelings. We took photos, a lot of photos as much as we
can after the event. We are all so happy back then.
The competition back then did not go well many people were in shock because
its totally a biased judging. But, for me its okay since we give our best and no
reputation has been trampled while the event is happening its all good. I hope
it won’t happen again because the one who really deserves to win is
unfortunate. Remember when, George Eliot once said “Don’t judge a book by
its cover”, so next time let’s all be fair-minded to each and everyone.
