Mubadala Petroleum Indonesia (MPI) planned to conduct lifting of luffing cylinder (crane component)
from PQP to WHP through the platform bridge. Due to the unavailability of PQP Crane, the lifting (laying
down) process from PQP topdeck to PQP bridge will use beam clamp that will be attached at the beam,
used for anchor point with a load around 4 Tons, consisted of piston rod and cylinder (barrel).
3rd party contractor will analyze and simulate load in the beam clamps location as shown in the image
below. Besides that, the contractor also conducts load simulation in the bridge to calculate maximum
bridge load capacity to ensure the luffing cylinder (consists of 2 lifting activity for cylinder tube and piston
rod) is able to safely transported to WHP.
