I. Logo of the Cooperative

II. Meaning of the Logo

The cooperative’s logo background is color green which symbolizes healthiness and
life. The text in the upper part of the logo states the cooperatives tagline “Your health is Our
Priority” meaning that the cooperative will not neglect the health issues present in the
community and that it will always remain as the center of focus to the organization.
Meanwhile, the cooperative’s name is indicated in the lower part of the logo so that people
will always be reminded of its name. Then, the symbol in the middle which portrays a person
reflects equality because of its different colors in its body. This means that no color, gender,
and any other factor will be look at to be a reason for discrimination in terms of health
needs. Everyone will be equally served. Lastly, the three leaf-like symbol over the head of
the person symbolizes hope and a future that the cooperative visualizes to attain through
providing healthcare services.
III. Other Requirements

A. Name of the Cooperative:

 VED Healthcare Cooperative
➢ The cooperative’s name was derived from the participants’ nickname Ven and Ed.
Also, VED stands for Vital, Essential, and Desirable. This depicts the systematic way
of identifying drugs needing focused managerial control. This name was chosen not
just because it carries the identity of the founders but it also emphasizes an
importance of proper identification of drugs which highlights the healthcare.

Cooperative’s Mission and Vision

Our Mission
The mission of VED Healthcare Cooperative is to improve and relieve healthcare
issues in Barangay San Roque together with the aim of enhancing the
communication between the citizen and the healthcare personnel within the vicinity
through dedication, genuine concern, honesty, and reliability.

Our Vision
VED Healthcare Cooperative envision itself to become a trustworthy and sustainable
healthcare cooperative maintaining its self-reliance and independence while being
able to continually serve the citizens and the healthcare workers.

B. Scope and Purposes

Scope: The cooperative will operate primarily within Barangay San Roque, Navotas City.
Involving the citizens and healthcare service providers in the barangay.

Purpose/s: VED Healthcare Cooperative’s purpose is to be able to strengthen the

communication between the citizens and the healthcare personnel. Also, the business aims
to take part in the improvement of the citizens’ health and the healthcare professionals’ work
conditions.

C. Term of Existence

VED Healthcare Cooperative plans to operate for 50 years and maximize its right to
operate under RA 9520 which states that a cooperative can only operate for 50 years.
Hence, we would like to put our dedication to helping the community that is why we want to
pledge our 50 years of service to the people.
