Capaian Pembelajaran : Capaian Mata Kuliah:
This course aims to provide at developing students: a) different syllabus design; b) understanding of EFL material
development; c) needs and situation analysis; d) principles of material selection, evaluation, adaptation, and development;
e) skills in developing EFL materials for Indonesian schools, and f) positive attitudes toward EFL materials development.
Upon completion of this subject, students are expected to:
 understand the importance of materials development in English language learning,
 have knowledge of steps to develop materials, and
 be able to produce materials for English language learning
Deskripsi Mata Kuliah : This course is designed to give the knowledge to the students on the language development and curriculum, how to
adapt, develop or adopt the material and learning activities. By this course, the students will be able to design what the
suitable approach, method, technique, material and task to their students even its grading and evaluating to them.
Eventually, this course aims to equip students with the ability to critically analyse, evaluate and develop language teaching
material.
Materi Mata Kuliah : The materials of this course deal with the kinds of syllabus, the language development and curriculum, the needs
analysis, task components, analyzing language skills, grading the tasks, testing, assessing and evaluating the task and its
teaching. The learning materials include:
