SEPIFILM™ White TF is a film-coating agent free from titanium dioxide,

designed for food supplements in tablet form.

It has been developed to answer the growing demand for titanium dioxide free
alternatives from consumers and manufacturers of food supplements.

An alternative to titanium dioxide ● In powder form

SEPIFILM™ White TF offers a new way to make white tablets without using
titanium dioxide while still having a coverage of tablet cores imperfections. ● For food
supplements
Its performance was assessed comparing yellowish placebo tablets coated with
SEPIFILM™ White TF and a HPMC-based white coating agent containing
titanium dioxide.

weight gain = 4% weight gain = 5%

With a minimal weight gain of 5%, tablets coated with SEPIFILM™ White TF
give visually a good result compared to coating agent containing TiO2.
 A good opacifying power

The opacifying properties of SEPIFILM™ White TF have been tested at lab scale on a challenging types of
cores, including plain brownish tablets and spotted tablets:

weight gain = 5% SEPIFIT™ Protect weight gain = 5%

A ready-to-use film coating agent for white and colored tablets

SEPIFILM™ White TF can be used in a 12% water dispersion, for a recommended weight gain from 5 to
8% depending on the aspect of the cores.

It can be applied to give a whitening shade on:

● uncoated tablets
● tablets previously coated with a clear SEPIFILM™ LP to protect moisture sensitive cores

It can also be applied as a sub-layer prior to using SEPIFILM™ NAT COL in order to give bright and natural
colors to dark and/or spotted cores.
