The purpose of this report is to give a professional documented account of my progress for

July 3) 14-February 16)
3. Apply the treatment (July 5-25) 9. Water the lawn (March 1-20)

GANTT REPRESENTATIONS:
Work Accomplished
Work Remaining
WORK ACCOMPLISHED
JUNE
 Weeds were identified on June 24.
 I researched for the best herbicide solution regarding the specific species of the weeds.

JULY
 I acquired the best herbicide for the specific species of weed on July 1.
 Applied the herbicide to my lawn

PROBLEMS ENCOUNTERED
 There was some criticism against the herbicide due to the possibility of it poisoning the
neighborhood animals.
 Had to pay a higher price to get a safe and effective brand of herbicide.

WORK REMAINING
AUGUST
 Wait for the herbicide to do its job.

SEPTEMBER
 Once the weeds and grass turn brown, its time to rake and till to prepare for the seeds.

OCTOBER
 Aerate the lawn to help break up thatch.

NOVEMBER
 Apply the soil amendment to ready the soil for grass seed or sod.

DEC-FEB
 First, I will select the appropriate type of seed regarding the current season and region.
 Secondly, I will lay down approximately one inch of topsoil.
 Thirdly, I will use a seed spreader to evenly distribute the seed.

MARCH
 Water and maintain my lawn.
CONCLUSION
This project is currently slow paced due to the lack of time considering my terribly busy
schedule. I still am optimistic that the herbicide treatment will be successful despite the
concerns and protest regarding the potential poisoning of neighborhood animals from the
herbicide.

RECOMMENDATIONS
 I recommend before I or anyone else starts a home project such as this one to first
consider time management and willingness to see it through.
