LDNA GUIDE QUESTIONS

1. What are your professional development goals for the year? What needs to change in
“yourself” and “in the school” to meet these goals?
- My professional development goal for this year is to use a range of teaching strategies to
enhance learner achievement in literacy and numeracy skills. I could achieve this goal by
attending various seminars, workshops and through benchmarking with other teachers.

2. What skills do you and your co-teachers need? What skills do you think you and your co-
teachers currently have?
- We need to enhance our skills in conducting online classes so that we could. Most of us
do not know how to properly use the applications used in presenting a lesson. We could
use this skill in providing our learners supplemental learning materials like video lessons.

3. What knowledge gaps exist within your group?

- Since our group is composed mostly of young and newly hired teachers, I think there is a
knowledge gap in terms of our perspective on the issue, generate ideas and opinions in
working on with the life and work conundrum in a different, better way and to manage
our professional development.

4. Are you willing to go back to the academe to further enhance your mastery of your field?
- Yes. Given the chance, I would continue my post graduate studies not just for myself but
for the learners as well to give them the quality education that they deserve.

5. In terms of COT, what aspect do you think needs improvement to be an efficient teacher?
- I need to improve my teaching strategies in this time challenging situation.
