NARRATIVE REPORT ON THE SUPREME PUPIL GOVERMENT ELECTION

SY 2018-2019

I. INTRODUCTION:

Pursuant to DepEd order No. 11, s. 2016 entitled Additinal Guidelines to DepEd Order No. 24, s. 2014
(Constitution and By-laws of the Supreme Pupil Government and Supreme Student Government in the Elementary
and Secondary Schools), the school will conduct SPG Elections for the School Year 2019-2020.

The pupils of Buenavista Elementary School, with the guidance of our loving God believing in the need
for a better organized pupil government and in the development of the youth as future leaders of the nation, the
Supreme Pupil Government shall advance, implement, and maintain our goals and aspirations, embody the ideas
and principles of freedom, quality, justice and democracy, and promote hte welfare of all pupils and the academic
standards of our Alma Mater.

II. OBJECTIVES:

 Develop love of God and country, moral character, personal discipline, leadership and efficiency among its
member;
 Train members for effective and efficient leadership;
 Help the students develop self-confidence;
 Maintain school aspirations to promote quality education and academic excellence;
 Serve and protect pupils’ rights and welfare;
 Represent in the policy-making body of the school concerning pupils’ welfare;
 Participate in all school activities especially during the World Teachers Day.

III. ACTIVITIES UNDERTAKEN

A. Synchronized election of Officers

IV. HIGHLIGHTS OF ACCOMPLISHMENTS:

Buenavista Elementary School pupils participate the synchronized SPG Election last February 26, 2019 in
the school feeding/science room . It was done through writing the name of the candidates on the official ballots that
was distributed to each pupil. The election runs smoothly because the voters were instructed properly by the
students that served as the COMELEC.

V. RECOMMENDATIONS:

● There should be seminars or trainings for the officers at least once a year. With that, the SPG coordinator
together with the help of school principal, there will be a leadership training and seminar workshop to those elected
officers on April. It is to help the officers and make them prepared for their functions and responsibilities for the
next school year.

● The SPG project should also be assisted by the teachers and principal and shows positive attitudes
towards it to encourage the officers as well as their advisers to pursue what they had started. Appreciate what they
had done to boast their self-esteem as young leadres. Financial assistance from the MOOE is also needed to cater
other needs for the trainings.
