ESSAY #1

The culture of the Philippines prior to colonial rule is diverse and rich, if I will write

about it, my topic will be how rich and wonderful a culture back then, and I will showcase how

rich the past is with folk speeches, folk songs, folk tales, indigenous rituals, mimetic dances,

epic, legend, and mythology. I want to show the rest of the world how beautiful we are on our

own. Metaphors will be the literary techniques that I will utilize since they can bring my words

to life, allowing me to make the subject accessible to the reader and make a complicated notion

easier to comprehend. My writing would expose the eyes and minds of Filipinos to how lovely

what we have now is, and it would help it expand and be noticed by others. It will also motivate

and educate people to learn more about the culture so that it may be passed down to future

generations.
ESSAY #1
If given the opportunity to write about Philippine Literature, I would write about the lost

treasures of Philippine Literature since there are so many great cultures that have been buried in

a dark corner and need to be remembered and recognized so that people may enjoy the beauty of

it. The literary device that I will use is the Flashback, flashbacks use the main narrative's

chronological order to transport the reader back in time to prior occurrences. Using this literary

strategy can assist readers in better understanding things from the past to the present. My writing

would aid in the preservation of the culture that we now have, as well as in the remembrance of

those who have been forgotten by many, and would gradually bring them to sight. And make

them renowned in front of millions of people.
