Customers entrust marinas with their valuable boats and expect due
dilligence in protecting their property.

In order for the marina to ensure due dilligence in
protecting the customers’ property and prevent
potential damage, the marina staff frequently carries
out regular boat monitoring.

However, the marina staff cannot monitor all the boats

all the time. (from experience, we know that damage
occurs when multiple unfortunate circumstances
coincide).

Furthermore, the marina staff visually inspects the

boats only from the outside. No marina has
information on what is going on inside a boat, and this
can lead to serious disasters.
 The Proactive Boat Care system allows for continuous boat monitoring via wireless
(IoT) sensors, and warns the boat owner and marina in the event of a potential

hazard. It consists of three key components:

Sensors: Boat owners Communication infrastructure: The

warn you if smoke or increase in
temperature are detected in the
boat cabin, indicating a potential
fire hazard.

All measurements and alerts are available to the boat owner via the mobile application
 In case of any incidents, the marina is alerted via the Marinacloud
application and emails to the designated persons.
