a. Statement of the Problem

The right amount of everyday sleep is vital for productivity and essential for the human

body to function in good condition. Sufficient rest periods for people under 13-18 years old

usually range from 8-10 hours; however, due to different duress that depreciates their mental

capacity, the inability to acquire ample rest arises, which triggers insufficient sleep. This

experimental study will look for the causes of the mental concern and attempt to apply the

materials such as almond milk and lavender oil as preventive methods for sleep deprivation. The

effectiveness of the said materials will vary upon the results of the trial to be conducted through

sampling.

● What is the difference between the effectiveness of lavender oil and milk in managing

enough sleep at night?

● How effective are almond milk and lavender oil in managing enough sleep at night?

● Which among the almond milk and lavender is more effective in managing enough sleep

at night?

b. Conclusion

After several interventions, the researchers can now provide conclusions based on the

gathered data. The researchers came up with the following conclusions:

● Based on the findings, milk intake has 66.67% more effectiveness than lavender oil

application when it comes to managing sleep.


● By looking at the computed test value, the pre-test and post-test of both lavender oil, and

milk have no significant difference, thus both do not provide high effectiveness in terms

of providing quality sleep.

● As stated in research answer 1, milk intake has more effectiveness than lavender oil in

terms of providing quality sleep.

c. My Analysis

Based on our analysis, both milk intake and lavender oil have no promising effects when

it comes to providing quality sleep, yet they can still provide minimal changes to a person’s

sleeping pattern. Looking inside the numerical values and comparing both the means of the data

gathered, We can conclude that milk is more efficient than lavender oil. Milk can provide an

average of 2 hours of additional sleep while lavender oil can provide an average of 40 mins.

Overall, the experiment has been able to give answers to our research questions, thus we have

been successful in analyzing our data.
