What happened with the rice grains
when you moved the half-boxes
sliding past each other?
When I moved the box sliding past each other, it looks like two tectonic
plates that slide past each other creating a transform boundary. Rice
grains represents the tectonic plates that move when it has an
earthquake.

What were the insights that you
have gained in doing the activity?
In doing the activity I have learned what is the difference
between the three different types of plate boundaries, and
how it occurs when an earthquake happens.
