1.) What are the evidence of EARTH HISTORY?

Fossils are the best form of evidence about the history of life on earth, because it gives us major
clues about major geological events and past climates.

2.) How important the istope in geologist?

because istope has a closed system that is very useful for dating all types of rocks, because some
minerals in rocks can contain radioactive istopes. So the abundance of parent and daughter istopes
in a sample can be measured and used to determine their age.

3.) What is Foliation?

it refers to repetitive layering in metamorphic rocks. Each layer can be as thin as a sheet of paper, or
over a meter in thickness.
