1989 CHAPTER 35

An Act to amend section 3 of the Petroleum Royalties (Relief) and

Continental Shelf Act 1989. [27th July 1989]

E IT ENACTED by the Queen's most Excellent Majesty, by and with

B the advice and consent of the Lords Spiritual and Temporal, and
Commons, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the
authority of the same, as follows:—

1.—(l) Section 3 of the Petroleum Royalties (Relief) and Continental Power to amend
Shelf Act 1989 (which enables a certain designation order under the further
Continental Shelf Act 1964 to be amended to give effect to an Agreement designation order
between the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland relating to the relating to
Shelf) shall have effect with the amendments specified in subsection (2) continental

(2) In subsection (2), after the word "amending" there shall be inserted and the Republic
of Ireland.

2. This Act may be cited as the Continental Shelf Act 1989. Short title.
