The Ecosorb® Family of Odor Control Products
Standard Water Based Products – Airborne Applications
o 606 The flagship of the industrial products. A broad
spectrum product used in a multitude of industries. Often
diluted depending on delivery equipment and application.
Best when used to control odors of acidic and basic gasses
and odorous “cocktails” containing multiple gasses.
o 505 A less intensive version of 606 often diluted and used
in municipal wastewater applications and other low odor
applications
o 610 Concentrated 606 to avoid shipping water to
customers. 18 liters makes 200 liters 606.
o 606G Same broad spectrum product as 606 with additives
making it more effective on odors resulting from volatile
fats, fatty greases, and the like.
o 206 Modified version of 606 originally designed for styrene
odors. More effective than 606 on most hydrocarbon odors.
o 806 A blend of 606 and 206 for nasty mixture odor
applications
Oil Based Products – Additives
o 606A The first additive and originally designed for
unmodified asphalt binder (bitumen). Popular with hot mix
asphalt plants, used and re-refined oils, and similar
applications. Also used as an additive for plastics*.
o 206A Additive developed for use mostly in modified asphalt
binder/bitumen
o 806A Blend of 606A and 206A for the really odd
applications.
o 1200A Additive developed for asphalt/bitumen containing
measurable levels of sulfides such as hydrogen sulfide and
mercaptans. Also controls the hydrocarbon odors.
o 303A A specialized product normally reserved for unusual
applications usually involving polymer applications*.
o Custom Blends When the standard additive products will not
do the job OMI chemists will develop a product specific to the
customer’s needs.
*Ecosorb ® additives readily compound into most rubber and plastic products
Gel Products
o Spray Gel A thick semi-solid liquid product capable of being
sprayed onto odorous materials such as sludge, solid waste,
and soil
o Standard Gel Crystal like semi-solid particles easily broadcast
over, onto, or into odorous materials such as sludge
