Colorado State University
Education Award
Upon completion of service you’ll receive an
Education Award ($6345 for full-time, $3,172.50
for half-time or $1,678.57 for quarter-time) that
can be used to pay tuition, student loans or other
educational expenses. Members 55 years or
older may choose to transfer their award to a
child, grandchild or foster child.
Living Allowance
You’ll receive a living allowance of up to $15,100
for full-time, up to $7,550 for half-time, and up to
$3,775 for quarter-time members. The living
allowance is distributed approximately every two
weeks and is taxable.

professional experience and skills.

AmeriCorps Members plan and deliver
4-H STEM programming to
underserved youth (ages 8-18) in out-
of-school settings.
You will:

opportunities to underserved
youth
Encourage youth to stay in school,
pursue secondary education, and
become lifelong learners
Explore STEM

Help youth prepare for the future
as they develop life skills in a
