Introduction: Disneyland, the happiest place on Earth. The land of imagination and comfort for
many. Yet, it has secrets. Dark, dangerous secrets. We’re here today to discuss the horrific
nature of Disneyland. But what does this entail? I would propose that Disneyland is dark and
dreary.

Exposition:
Disneyland may claim to be a place of happiness, but it has caused a startling number of
deaths. For example, in 1981 an 18-year-old was stabbed to death at Disneyland. In addition,
water there caused an outbreak of Legionnaires' disease that hospitalized ten and killed one. A
seven-year-old girl was crushed by a bus, a man was hospitalized from falling off the Tower of
Terror, and there have been measles outbreaks strongly associated with Disneyland. In fact, if
we were to continue this line of argument, we would reach the problems with the pricing, feral
animals, and predatory marketing tactics aimed towards children.

Refutation:
I myself was once sympathetic with my opponents’ claim that Disneyland is a place full of fun
and dreams, but in time I came to reject that claim based on the realization that Tinker Bell is
not actually the kind fairy I once dreamed she was. Once upon a time, I visited Disneyland.

Conclusion:
In conclusion, this is really a debate about safety, about dreams, about love. So I urge you if you
remember only one thing, to remember that death abounds in disneyland
