Good morning to teacher Anita and fellow friends. I would like to talk to you all
about one important topic today. Before that, I would like to start by introducing myself. My
name is Divya Barathi D/O Durairaju. I am a student from Slim River Vocational College
and I am very proud and pleased to introduce my partner Nurazirah Amanina.

The title that we choose is too much sugar is bad. Let me ask you all . What is sugar? Sugar
means a sweetness we need in food or drink. It is actually good for health if taken in low
quantity and it will be bad if taken in excess. The purpose I want to share about disadvantage
of sugar because by consuming too much sugar in food it will be very harmful to our health
and also cause various diseases. The most common example we know of is diabetes.
Therefore here I would like to give exposure to the public to reduce sugar intake.

increase risk of heart disease. It is because consuming too much added sugar will cause your
heart become weak and difficult to deliver oxygen to your body and hard to breath and also

MAIN IDEA 3, SUPPORTING IDEA & DETAILS / EXAMPLES

Today, Divya Barathi and I had the opportunity to talk a topic we have chosen is too

much sugar is bad and I will continue this topic. Excessive sugar intake can lead to

excessive energy intake or more clearly is sugar can drains your energy. This is because,

having constant blood sugar swings can lead to major fluctuations in energy levels. Products

that are loaded with sugar but lacking in protein, fiber or fat lead to a brief energy boost that’s

quickly followed by a sharp drop in blood sugar, often referred to as a crash. For example, ice

cream, soft drinks and candy that many people like. The best way to add energy without

consuming a lot of sugar, we need to do some steps that is we need to exercise, rest, drink

enough water and etc.
