College of Arts and Sciences with its Psychology program aims to provide undergraduate

students with solid basic foundation, quality, and excellent education on the major areas of
psychology which may also be used as preparation for further studies and training in particular
specializations of psychology and other professions such as education, law, medicine, and
business management.
In addition, with further specialized training that graduates of this program may pursue
career paths and major sectors of society such as the helping professions (psychotherapy),
business and governmental organizations (human resource selection, training and development),
and civil society (community development).
Furthermore, other goals of the program are to provide students with in-depth and
broader understanding of theories, principles, concepts, and skills in Psychology, to make them
knowledgeable about the more advanced psychological inquiry by comprehending and
evaluating new information that will be prominent into becoming more responsible and educated
members of global society and to prepare them in achieving useful judgment, rigorous thinking
and independent work that is with global competitiveness.
