RE: Letter of Intent to Avail of One (1) Solar Drier

Dear Governor Catamco:

This pertains to the dire need of Lampangang Farmers Association of a drying facility to
cater to its members who produce rice and corn as their prime commodities. The lack of
drying facility drastically the affects the income of our member farmers as they are
force to sell their grains at a much lower price.

In view of the abovementioned, we are therefore respectfully requesting our beloved

Governor and the Office of the Provincial Agriculturist to allocate funds for the
construction of a solar drier for our Association. Attached is a copy of our Resolution
regarding the said request.

RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE OFFICE OF THE HONORABLE GOVERNOR

NANCY ALAAN CATAMCO TO ALLOCATE FUNDS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF
ONE (1) SOLAR DRIER FOR THE ASSOCIATION

WHEREAS, Lampagang Farmers Association has been actively engage in rice and corn
production since its inception;

WHEREAS, there is inadequate number of drying facility to cater to all corn and rice
production areas of the Municipality;

WHEREAS, the Lampagang Farmers Association has a huge rice and corn production
area with no available drying facility to cater to our members during peak harvest
season;

WHEREAS, the shortage of drying facility greatly affects the selling price of our prime
commodities and in turn affects our individual household incomes;

NOW THEREFORE RESOLVED AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED to request Honorable

Governor Nancy Alaan Catamco to include in the Annual Investment Program of the
Province of Cotabato the construction of solar drier with the Lampagang Farmers
Association as a beneficiaries;

FURTHER RESOLVED, the Association requests that the Governor allocate appropriate
funds for said project request.
