4 Functional Performance Test Procedure:

4.1 Play the test signal. Broadcast the signal through the PA system via:
a. Waveform audio (WAV) file uploaded to the system server.
b. Direct input at the headend or at the gate microphone input, and/or
c. Live announcer simulator at the gate agent push-to-talk microphone.
4.2 If necessary, make additional adjustments to gain or equalization settings to compensate for the root causes of the non-conforming
performance (e.g., background noise and room acoustics). Repeat the test after the adjustments.
