Communicating your
Research on Social Media
Project 2
One of the major goals for this course to help you better engage in the processes of communicating
your research to your audience. The research paper is not the sole way to communicate ideas. As
our world expands to include a variety of digital and social spaces I want you to consider how to
effectively and meaningfully create content on Social Media. To do this I’ll ask you to develop a
social media site where you will develop several multimedia posts to communicate the research you
developed in project 1, I’ll ask you to think about the way your social media space works to com-
municate ideas as well as what kinds of genres and content creation will work both in that space and
for your audience. By the end you’ll develop a fully functioning and publicly accessible Social Media
Site where you share what you’ve discovered and learned from your Research in Project 1 with an
online audience..

Take note: This assignment requires you PRESENT your RESEARCH from Project one, and must be on
topic: how reading, writing, literacy or learning or language or communication works. Your topic
MUST align with these. Any off topic work will receive a zero.

ASSIGNMENT

ing/writing/literacy/learning topic and engages a specific Audience.

PARTNERS?
You can partner up for project 2! Read the rules below and follow the instructions if you want to
partner up!

When we return to class after spring break we’ll share our research topics and discoveries with
the class, that will be the time you’ll want to look around and see who might have a similar topic
as you who you would like to work together with!

If you find a partner you must

1. make sure you and your partner have similar enough research to develop a social media sit
together where BOTH or your research will be showcases.

2. Meet with Bonnie for Partnership approval no later than Friday March 25th 2022. If you
move forward to complete work with a partner without approval, you’ll both receive a zero
for all submissions for the project.

3. You must both work on the social media site and design of each post together.

4. When submitting you must both submit on blackboard, yes even if it is the same thing.

5. You must mediate your own problems, Bonnie will not mediate issues between you both.
Once you’ve been approved for partnership you must finish the project together.

6. You will answer extra questions in the final exam regarding your partnership.
