Activity: Linggo ng Kabataan 2020 Date: September 7-12, 2020

Description of the Activity:

As required and promoted by the RA 10742 or SK Reform Act of 2015, the
Sangguniang Kabataan must conduct Linggo ng Kabataan. With this, the Linggo ng
Kabataan 2020 will be conducted in observance with the health protocols advice by
health authorities for personal safety and purposes. This is a one-week event with
different simultaneous duration of activities.

Objectives:
 To encourage participation and involvement of Youth Activities.
 To exemplify this year’s theme for Linggo ng Kabataan, “Youth Engagement
for Global Action”.
 To boost youth’s empowerment and self-esteem despite of the recent
pandemic occurred
Accomplishments/Highlights:
Empowerment towards Youth participatory engagement. One of the highlights of the activity is the
Quaranteen Modeling. This activity aims to bring courage to the youth, that despite with the difficult
circumstances Youth are able to stand and can be a pioneering example to take responsibility and action
in ones safety as an impart of being a good citizen.
