Chapter 3

METHODOLOGY

This chapter presents the methods and techniques, respondents of the study instrument of

the study, and the processing and statistical treatment.

Method and Techniques

This study will use mix method which is quantitative and qualitative research.

The quantitative research will use to quantify the conditions and impact of the company.

The qualitative approach will to explain the events and describe findings using interviews

and documentary analysis. This will enable the researcher to gain better insights and

understanding of the study involved.

The researcher will gather data through interviews, observation, to obtain

qualitative results, and for quantitative data through questionnaires.

Respondents of the study

The respondents of the study are 30 which will focus on Metro manila branches of

ORIX METRO LEASING COMPANY, and the respondents are the Branch Head,

Marketing assistance, and Sales admin.

Instrument of the study

For the purpose of this research, and in order to achieve the objectives will be

collected and will be used both primary and secondary data. The secondary data will

contribute toward the formation of background information, needed by both the

researcher in order to build constructively the project and the reader to comprehend

more thoroughly the survey outcome. Primary data will be collected in two ways.

Firstly, a questionnaire survey will be conducted with employees in every Metro manila

branches. Secondly, interviews will be also for Branch head, marketing assistant and

lastly sales admin.

Data Gathering procedure

The mode of data gathering are the questionnaire method. Each of the chosen

respondents will provide structured set of questionnaires on the demographic profile and

also the employee’s productivity.

The collection of data is of paramount importance in the conduct of research. The

nature of data depends mostly upon the type of tool of technique used by researches for

collecting these data. It is necessary to adopt or evolve systematic procedure to collect

essential data. Relevant data, adequate in quality and quantify should be collected. They

should be sufficiently reliable and valid.

Data Processing and Statistical analysis

The study will collect data through interview analysis and questionnaires with 30

respondents.

To cover the study the researcher will use Licker Scale which have a 5 point indicator

that is:

5 = strongly agree; 4= Agree; 3= Neutral; 2= Disagree; and 1= strongly

Likert scale will use to identify the insights of the respondents through

questionnaires.

Likert Scale is a bipolar scaling method, measuring either positive or negative

response to a statement. Additionally, interview questionnaires were executed with

branch head to gain more insights in the conduct of the study.
