1. Marikit Park is located in the middle of Olongapo City and is great for children and the young
ones who simply want to relaxed. This location has a beautiful playground and benches. Marikit
Park is a popular hangout for students to spend their leisure time. It is also one of Olongapo's
first parks, and it has become well-known throughout time. Marikit Park is conveniently located
near Gordon College, the museum, the conference center, and the library. Marikit Park is
frequented by students from the local city college to study classes, eat snacks, and catch up
with friends.

The city of Olongapo acquired from the Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA) bodies of jet
planes left behind by the U. S. Navy and preserved the same for their historical and heritage
value to the city. One of them is this R-A5 Vigilante which now serves as the landmark at the
main entrance of Marikit Park, along Rizal Avenue.
