Respected Sir,

We are pleased to inform that NACOF is a Multi-State Cooperative Federation registered under the Multi-State
Cooperative Societies Act-2002 by the Central Registrar, Cooperative Societies in the Aegis of Ministry of
Agriculture, Government of India. Copies of the Registration certificate dated 04.11.2009 and amendments
registered in bye-laws extending area of operation of NACOF to 25 States and Union Territories by the Central
Registrar, Cooperative Societies, vide his notification dated 24.01.2013 are enclosed for kind perusal. The Federation
is working on all India level with Branches/Sub-branches set up in State Capitals and important centers. The Annual
Turnover of NACOF is Rs. 1978/- crores during the financial year 2020-21.

The objectives of the Federation interiliac are to organize, develop the cooperative marketing and processing
societies in the country and supplementing their activities of procurement, trading of Agricultural commodities like
food grain, pulses, certified seeds, grain seeds, seedlings, Bio-fertilizers and animal feeds, horticultural, farm- forest
inputs & produce, sea foods, dairy & dairy products, animal products directly from the farmers and through the
member societies, opening of retail outlets to cater to the requirement of the rural and urban areas and strive for
better market prices to farmers / consumers through price support/ market intervention by setting up/ acquiring/
membership in commodity exchanges, imports/exports activity supply of various items to the central/ state
government/ agencies etc.
Our Federation has been nominated by the State Governments of West Bengal, Odisha and Uttar Pradesh for
the procurement of paddy under the CMR/MSP Scheme of the Govt. of India. The State Government of Telangana
has also nominated NACOF for distribution of various crops seeds, fodder seeds on subsidy under the various
schemes. NACOF have also been awarded to procure wheat seeds during 2015-16 by Govt. of U.P. Department of
Women and Child Development and Social Welfare, Govt. of West Bengal vide their orders No. 4860-35-260/03 Pt
dated 15.09.2015 & 608-SW/3S-262/03 Pt. dated 08.02.2016 have nominated NACOF for the supply of Rice,
Masoor dal, Mustard Oil and Iodized Salt in the district of Boardman district, West Bengal under the ICDS Projects.
We have been providing Supply Support of certified seeds, seedlings, planting material, bio-fertilizers, pesticides,
insecticides and other Agri-inputs to Department of Horticulture in the State of Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Chhattisgarh,
Jharkhand, Haryana, Rajasthan, Odisha and Uttarakhand.

Sir, we are pleased to inform to your good self that Govt. of Jharkhand has nominated NACOF as their state
agency for the Procurement of Paddy under MSP operation for the year 2016-17. A copy of the order issued by
Govt. of Jharkhand Department of Food P. D. and Consumer Affairs dated 27-09-2016 is enclosed for ready
reference.
The Govt. of Assam Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Department Dispur, Guwahati have also
nominated NACOF as their state agency vides their circular no. FSB.74/2016/60 dated 23-12-2016 for the
Procurement of Paddy under MSP operation for the KMS 2016-17 (Copy Enclosed).

 The Union Ministry of Agriculture vide their letter dated 19.08.2010, 12.12.2012, 24.08.2013 & 24-01-
2017 advised the State Governments to utilize the services of our federation for purchase of their
requirements of various items. We have sufficient technical manpower and other resources for the
procurement of Wheat. Copies of the instructions issued by the Government of India as stated above are
enclosed for your kind perusal.
