Power Failure Detection (By 5V Power) : Point of Detection Application
Power Failure Detection (By 5V Power) : Point of Detection Application
[Meaning] Power failure is detected when DC +5[V], power is applied [Actions to take]
from SMPS to DOC-200 PCB, falls down to +4.8[V] or below. 1. If DOC-200 PCB is in Down and +4.8[V] or less voltage is applied,
not +5[V], TCD 144 is judged to result from normal power failure.
When DC +5[V] power(MG/1, MG/6) P5 applied from SMPS to DOC-200 PCB falls
down to +4.8[V] or below, +5[V] Down detecting signal LL# (LOW LINE #) is diverted
into “Low” by U2(MAX791) element in DOC-200 PCB. And then this “Low” signal develops
Power Fail Interrupt(PF-INT#) in U1(80960KB) CPU.(Then, CPU carries out Power
Failure Interrupt Handler).
