1. REVIEW OF THE AGENDA

Mr. Lubega requested the chairperson to amend the agenda to include personal
introductions of the present individuals.

2. LEAGUE ORGANISATION RECAP

The chairperson briefly took members through the organisation process at hand which
included details on;
 Teams
 Payments
 The involvement of the school
 Advertising
 The involvement of the Seeta High Old Students’ Association(SHOSA)
 The league budget draft

3. REACTIONS

Mr. Lubega gave a number of comments;

 He advised that the committee sources for a smaller pitch at Kyebando, or Kyanja
 The league should not depend on the school especially financially
 We should look at starting with the teams we have
 He assured us of the full participation and support from SHOSA
 The committee should open up a bank account
 Each team should have its own first aid to reduce on the costs read out in the
budget
 He advised that the default equipment should be made available and a registration
deadline set for the teams that will participate in the first season
 Medals should be used for rewards instead of trophies since the league is just
starting and does not have that much funding.
 Captains should be used to coordinate the process of payments

The chairperson suggested that the team that brought in the most number of girls both
on field and cheering will receive a bonus point during the league tournament.

Mr.Murungi Christopher suggested that there should be girls involved in this league
and added that it could be the ideal way to make the league unique and marketable to
both sponsors and football community at large; “….Imagine how the league would
sell if there was that photograph that showed a girl coming up against a man!”

Members suggested that the names of the teams should be linked to some form of
culture of the school such as slang

Members agreed that it should be a rule that all teams should have atleast one
girl/woman on the team

.Members also came to the agreement that the league matches will be played on
Sundays starting at 10am.
